is as full of zest as it's people. Having now become a destination point
for tourists all over the world to have a holiday, it is no surprise that Goan
food is now become popular , and can boast of having an identity second to
none.
Bernie’s
Kitchen aims to satisfy those taste buds that have either experienced or
have yet to experience this fiery cuisine that tends to leave your palate
craving for more.

After completing a Post Diploma in Food Production
Management with Honours from the esteemed Institute of Hotel Management and
Catering Technology, in Mumbai,
India, Bernie
worked with the Taj Group of Hotels in
Bombay,
Bangalore
and Goa.
After successfully setting up and starting a restaurant called ‘Karavalli’
in the Taj Gateway Hotel in Bangalore, serving food from the West Coast of India
which also included Goan Food, she then migrated to the UK, to be part of
a team of Chefs that opened the now much acclaimed Indian Food Restaurant – ‘La
Porte des Indes’.
After having worked for 8 years as a Sous Chef,
Bernie felt
it was time to be independent and try to promote the food from
Goa,
first among the Goan Community in
London
and hope for future success across the country.
